About PDP
The Florida Department of Education has created a community-based
system of Regional Personnel Development Partnerships (PDP)
designed to address the need for qualified personnel,
including special education, related services personnel and
leadership personnel within the
state's
67 school
districts.
The Regional PDPs are local professional development
partnerships established in collaboration with the Bureau of
Exceptional Education and Student Services. The FSU
Regional Partnership implements its comprehensive local strategic
planning by identifying
its local goals, objectives, and action steps to address the
professional development needs within the region. Its goal
is to recruit and retain special education and related services
personnel within the 14 county Partnership.
